Our Story

 The Learning PEARadise was born out of a need to encourage children to learn while playing, exploring, using art, and reading. Each component of the PEAR model is crucial to a child’s development, covering every aspect of what society believes should be instilled in our children. As we go about our daily lives, there is something to learn every day. We approach each video using themes and provide easy to do activities so that elementary aged children can have fun with minimal assistance from parents. 

A Note from the Founders + Creators

I’ve always been passionate about education since my childhood days of role playing as a teacher to working as a youth development professional with various non-profit organizations and later in non-profit executive management. This same passion carried over when I gave birth to my first child. 

We role played, explored our city and foreign lands, creatively expressed ourselves through art, and read books together. My girls were excited and grew increasingly inquisitive. That’s when we got an idea! We knew children needed to gain confidence, learn independence, express themselves, and explore the world around them. They needed to do this while learning, but also while having fun in their own world of paradise. 

And that is how The Learning PEARadise was born!

We encourage each other to dig deeper in understanding everyday objects, to be proactive, independent learners, and to create their own world of fun in PEARadise and hope through our videos other children will become inspired to learn independently. 

We love learning and always have - whether it’s a new skill, life lesson, or a new subject, we couldn’t imagine a world without learning. It’s invigorating, peaceful, delightful, heaven…it’s how we envision paradise.
